I don’t know about you, but I need peace and quiet to effectively plan for our school year, and also to clean/organize our supplies. 

Between hubby working, being with the kids 24-7  and day to day routines, sometimes my planning process is slowed. But thank God for a village!

The kids get to spend a week with their grandparents! I so need this break to refocus, rest, plan, clean and organize. I know, I have so much on my list to accomplish in 1 week! 

When they return I will be refreshed and the atmosphere set for a successful and fun year. So many times we neglect our need to be rejuvenated and rested as a home educator. 

Public school teachers get summer break and have time to plan in peace and quiet before the kids return. Do we not deserve the same? While I know I can’t get months away from my children, I can utilize my trusted resources called family to help support me and give my husband and I a much needed break. 

The children will get their love tanks full as well!
